death to fantasy and daydreaming
my favourite things to do alone in a dark room
it is the end of a persisting hallucination
chimera clouds part and reveal something with form and weight
i put it around my head, my crown of reality matter
my prize for fighting that only eternal battle
i snuff out weakness in the corner
i release blue-sky coloured hesitation to the wind
i destroy all forms of phantom appetite
i turn my stony heart back into blood and flesh
i’m alive and ready
i want and am satiated
i chew on my hunger and swallow it whole
