this is not a substack bitch but i have things i need to say!!

I scroll on Tiktok and watch a video that tells me the following: you’re just too adhd autistic entp schizopilled neurodivergent etc etc and this is why everyone hates you.

I have to wonder out loud: whatever happened to just being a bitch? Whatever happened to simply being an acquired taste of a human being? What is up with all the clinical diagnosis of eccentricity and oddball vibes? When did it become a crime to be quirked up? Like GOD. A bitch can’t even be highly strange and off putting for a second or two years or whatever anymore. 

I close the app. I shake my head vigorously. I love the internet but I don’t dare look at my daily screen time.

It’s Sunday. We watch the last episode of True Detective: Night Country. Written and directed by a woman. It’s terrible. And in a twisted way, I’m glad about it.
